STRAFFORD COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT

Police officers from the Cities of Rochester and Somersworth and the towns of Barrington, Durham, Farmington, Lee, Madbury, Middleton, Milton, New Durham, Rollinsford and Strafford, as well as officers from the University of New Hampshire Police Department are crucial partners in the project’s multi-disciplinary response to domestic violence. These law enforcement professionals are the first responders to domestic violence crimes handled by the Strafford County Domestic Violence Project.

In addition to the crisis management that each situation requires, law enforcement officers are responsible for conducting thorough investigations that will hopefully lead to meaningful prosecutions and sentences for offenders of these violent crimes.
